Using the OddsMatcher

The OddsMatcher finds back and lay prices for the same selection. Use it to find a match that fits your offer and budget.

What are you using it for?

  • Qualifying bet: meet the offer rules and keep the qualifying loss low.
  • Stake-not-returned free bet: enter the token amount and choose the right free-bet mode.
  • Another reward: follow that offer's instructions. A normal singles calculation may not fit.

Check the match

Look at the bookie, match, start time, selection, market, back odds, lay odds, lay stake and liability. A good rating doesn't tell you whether the price is still there or whether the offer applies to you.

Using a match

  1. Enter your stake or token amount and exchange commission.
  2. Apply the offer's minimum odds, market and time limits.
  3. Choose a match with liability you can cover.
  4. Open both sites and check the markets and live prices.
  5. Check there's enough stake available at the lay price.
  6. Recalculate if anything changes before you bet.
  7. Place both sides, confirm the lay is fully matched and log the accepted bets.

Don't chase a tiny saving

One match might cost 30p with £20 liability. Another might cost 20p with £80 liability. Saving 10p isn't worth tying up money you need elsewhere. Higher free-bet returns can also need much more liability.

If you've already placed one side, stick with that bet. Refreshing the matcher doesn't replace it. Recalculate using its actual figures and any lay already matched. See Back and lay.

Skip a match if the markets differ, the terms are unclear, there's too little money at the lay price or you can't check everything before the start.
